We put together some artwork for these giant decals to decorate our two production areas in the Burbank studio. My favorite is this life-size one of Naga & Korra. That’s the same look my dog gives me 90% of the time, and now I can see it towering over the cubicles every time I step outside my office.

The Finale Countdown
Well, guys. This is it.
The last Countdown for Book 1 of Legend of Korra.
God, that’s depressing, but I enjoyed doing this countdown so much. Even if it was completely exhausting, I think it was worth it. I’m so glad that I started doing these so long ago and that people have enjoyed them. They definitely make the wait go by faster than I expected.
Probably my favorite part about drawing this countdown in particular is that even though there is a little bit of shipping in here (yeah that 12hr was complete self-indulgence) I loved getting the chance to express a lot of family affection and love along with the kiss theme. It originally was going to be Korra just going around kissing everyone and their mother, but I’m glad I did it this way instead.
IT’S A CHAIN OF LOVE. PASS IT ON.

Reasons to Love Makorra
